Digitization and Gamification of Market Research:
A large-scale distributed system to provide round-the-clock research data across 10+ divisions of our customers, saving $10m in 3 years.
The system was born out of an ideation process between BOP and Customer, shaped through Hackathon events jointly run by BOP and Customer’s Business & Technology Architects.
BOP architects and engineers formed an agile team and created MVP in 3 weeks with in-house CoE teams using React with ASP.net/C# backend and hosted on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Key functionalities include –
- Administration panel for uploading research data and reports
- Google-like search capability to retrieve research data and reports
- Ecommerce capability for allocating and using credit coins
- Internationalisation with five language support to ease navigating website using AI Bots.
This full-featured system with over 1 million Daily Active Users (DAU) was developed in 6 months and is currently being hardened and supported by BOP.
BOP established agile ways of working, Azure DevOps and security aligning to our customer’s Architecture and Compliance practices.
With its strong and experienced DevOps consultants, BOP enabled an enterprise customer in its DevSecOps maturity.
BOP helped establish a custom 3-level maturity model after completing due diligence. As part of the modernisation initiative, BOP helped first automate the application deployment process, implement secure keys, and establish alerting mechanism for computing consumption on Azure Cloud.
In step 2, automated build and configuration to establish delivery pipelines. BOP has helped modernise 80% of customers’ applications so far and has taken up integrating SAST and DAST tools into the delivery pipelines.
BOP worked with the Customer’s COE teams to identify tooling and establish guidelines and treatment plans.

User Experience and Effective Campaigns Management
Our customer faced a steep challenge of declining click rates and increasing survey dropouts leading to higher costs for Survey completes.
Additionally, a low IP reputation led to unsuccessful campaigns. BOP worked with the customer to standardise email campaign management guidelines and templatised the campaign planning process.
Over three months, the Campaign design and roll-out effort were reduced by 85% – from 40 hours to 6 hours and the IP reputation improved from low to high. Over six months, open email rates improved from 13% to 24% and improved click rates from 2.5% to 3%.
